It's almost November...

November is going to be a blur.  We should think about when we will meet and what we will discuss.

Last time we met the term "tiered instruction" was raised.  I found a fabulous resource at http://www.saskschools.ca/curr_content/bestpractice/tiered/index.html

Tiering instruction is the part of differentiation where you take one concept and identify what the main ideas are.  Then you might provide instruction in 3 ways to 3 groups with different methods or depth of information.  As long as the main ideas are met, all 3 groups are learning the concepts. You can also differentiate the content, process, or the product in a lesson.
